Post 10 (week 15) >> Evaluation of your Blogging Experience

Hello again people, for this occasion I bring my last post. This time I will talk about my experience performing blogs for English 3 in my case this for me has been a torture, I do not have a good command of English, so each session is for me of great difficulty. While I understand EnglishI find it difficult to speak English and that's why I feel at a disadvantage at the pace that carries the course.

In my opinion my English skills have remained up even could say that I have noticed certain setback that worries me and it's obviously something I'm planning to improve either here at the university or with some external.

If there is anything that would add to the post, would be more entertaining topics such as the case of music, movies, etc. and less topics like I have had to present to you today, yes, I hate this blog.

To continue my discharges I should mention that irked me was the weekly blog, the accumulated fatigue was very big when arriving on Friday, but on the other hand I must say that I am glad that already this finish. Thank you very much for viewing this blog and until next time.

Post 9 (week 14) >> Themed/Free post 4 "FOUCh"

Hello everybody, today i’m going to talk about the Faculty of Dentistry of the University of Chile, mi home snice 1 year ago. This faculty has a special story, that any other faculty hasn’t, the becker case. Known also as the german delegation crime, solved by the doctor German, father of odontology in chile. Thanks to his cleverness he achieve explain the case, and the chile government in appreciation helped the construction of the faculty. In my stay, it ha highs and lows: organization problems, lack of materials, days without sleep,  stress everywhere, etc. On the bright side it has quality teachers and information, first class infrastructure and an excellent group of friends.

Something I could change, the aspect of the Alfredo Apip courtyard, known also as machu. According of that I know, it has grass in better times, and I would like to see with my own eyes something that in this moments I only can see in photos.

Odonto even though  is a faculty isolated from the other health degree , it shares a block with chemistry and pharmaceutical faculty, united by the Union Plaza. Until the next one

Post 7 (week 11) >> Childhood Series.

Hello such people to this day I bring a series of which more dear memory of my childhood, something like 10 years: Digimon 4, the series is noticeably different from other seasons as the main characters, the Digidestined, don't train Digimon to fight for them but instead merge with ancient spirits (known as 'Legendary Warriors') to become Digimon themselves.

Takuya, Zoe, JP, Tommy, Koji and Koichi,  the children chosen this season 4 that begins a long ago with  a group of ten Digimon sacrificed themselves to defeat an ultimate evil that threatened the Digital World. These Ancient Warriors created artifacts from their data, the twenty Spirits (ten Beast spirits and ten Human spirits, one of each for each element), before leaving the Digital World in the care of the three Celestial Digimon. However, one of the three, Cherubimon begins a reign of terror. To counter this, the Celestial Digimon Ophanimon summons six children  from the human world into the Digital World via the train-like Trailmon.

Other series that they liked me in my childhood were slam dunk, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Cow & Chicken, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, Detective Conan, Dragon Ball Z ,etc. ...The Old School :´)
Currently I do not follow any series for my drawings are no longer the same as before.

Virtual odontology is a web page that i met with facebook that at the beginning it didn’t attract my attention, but after I saw the content that people upload to the web, full of articles, videos, advices in the odontology ambit, I loved it, that’s why I always check out new posts
The page counts with sections of videos in 3 languagues, with the hugest information about dentist specialties, odontopediatry, implantology, pathology, oral surgery, orthodontic, prosthesis, endodoncy and periodontology
Besides count with actual news of easy search thanks to a bar on the page, where it shows the top ten most viewed posts, on the other side, it can be saw videoconferences os expertsin the topic of every part of the world, which are almost daily and of great value. For the last thing, the page counts with a great variety of pdf files, with maybe, the paper you’re looking for.
I check this page always i have posibilites, let’s say every 2 days, and well, i can say it never stop surprising me, give it a chance!

Post 6 (week 10) >> Themed/Free post 2 "My favourite Movie"

Hi!
Talking of my favorite movie is a bit difficult. On one side I have the classic Rocky Balboa saga as my favorites, The Pursuit of Happyness starred by will smith, which makes me cry like a baby everytime I see it. On the other side the cinematographic universe of marvel, even tough is not a big deal compared to the acclaimed Rocky’s saga, there’s some movies to save like Guardians of the Galaxy
What’s the special of this movie? I’ts the adaption of the comic of the same name, although it’s not totally faithful to the comic I love how they managed the moments on the movie. (Honorary mention to the beginning), developed characters,  signs to the cinematic universe, and an anthology soundtrack. The first time I saw it was the last summer when I did a movie marathon of marvel. I could say that I like action movies and especially superheroes.
Last movie I saw was Jurassic World, even though I’m not a fan of the saga, I liked the signs to other movies and the comeback of T-Rex, a very good sequel.
To conclude, I leave with you part of Guardians of the Galaxy soundtrack. Enjoy.

                                             

Post 5 (week 9) >> "A photograph you like"

Today  I'm going to talk of “Abbey Road” of the Beatles, the album cover most famous in all the world

The front cover design, a photograph of the group on a zebra crossing, was based on ideas sketched by McCartney, and taken on 8 August 1969 outside EMI Studios in Abbey Road. At around 11:30 that morning, photographer Iain Macmillan was given only ten minutes to take the photo whilst he stood on a step-ladder and a policeman held up traffic behind the camera.

In the image, the group walk across the street in single file from left to right, with Lennon leading, followed by Starr, McCartney, and Harrison. To the left of the picture, parked next to the zebra crossing, is a white Volkswagen Beetle motor-car which belonged to one of the people living in the block of flats across from the recording studio.

Why do I like this photography?  Old man, are the saints beatles!

  

Post 4 (week 6) Themed >>> Free Post 1

Hi fellows, this week I’m going to talk about my favorite music genre: The Funk.

Funk is a music style from around the 60’s – 70’s, very popular with Afro-American people. It was born from a fusion between Soul, Jazz and Latin-American rhythms. It’s a very shaken and gleeful music where there is a lot of use of electric guitar, bass, drums, trumpets, etc. It’s mostly based over an extended vamp over a single accord, being this it distinctive factor.

I started to listen this music style thanks to a friend’s influence when I was in my first year of high school. He showed me the Jamiroquai group, and I loved their melodies. Since that moment I never stopped searching new songs and groups related to this music style.

Between the biggest exponents of the genre we have James Brown; funk’s father, and also national bands, like Los Tetas and Chancho en Piedra.

Since I like this music genre, I've gone to three concerts from Los Tetas group, and one of Chancho en Piedra.

I like this genre because the rhythm helps me to relax, but I generally listen only the instrumental part of the songs.

Post 3 (week 5) >> My Favourite Piece of Technology

Hi!

Inside of all piece of technology my notebook HP Pavilion Dv4 5162 La stands out as the most important. This computer I received for my birthday three years ago, ideally for playing computer games but equally I can not deny that it has been useful for study, as in my  student season, as well as undergraduate. If i had to say the frequency with that i use my computer it would be 24/7 some six hours a day.

Why this fanaticism for my notebook? because it presents a graphic card very powerful of two Gigabites of memory, eight gigabites of memory ram and an processor Intel i7, thanks to these components can run games of new generation in great quality as the expected Grand Theft Auto 5 for PC...as wait this game!

Without my computer the life would be boring and the university more difficult than it is.

Post 2 (week 5) >> Expectations for a New Semester

Hi!

I am very happy

My second year in the career until now has been very good. The subjects of this semester will give me a basic knowledge in Pathology, Skills and Psychology of the patient.

Especificly the subject of this semester "Promotion and Education in Health" where I learn of Public Health.

"Scientific and Clinical Basis for the Diagnosis" where I learn of Patology, Pharmacology and Biochemistry. 

"Simulations for the Professional Exercise" that teach me of Managing Sets of Odontological Instrumental. 

"Psychosocial  and Anthropologic Foundaments of Health" that teach me the Psychology of the patient. And finally "Evidence Based Odontology" that teach me on investigation strategies.

In my free time I play video games, watch TV, do exercise, watch videos in YouTube, with a bowl of little star cereal with milk by my side.

In the university I assist constantly at the gymnasium and poetry class, these activities are useful to disconnect myself of the stress of Dentistry.

Finally, I can say that for this year, my expectations are to pass all the subjects, to bypass at least three subjects. May the force be on my side this time.

Post 1 (week 3) >> My Auto Biography

Hi, my name is Jorge Castillo, I am nineteen years old and I am a student of Dentistry in the Universidad de Chile.
My birthday is at December 8, 1995.

There are four people in my family: My father Juan, my mother Erika, my Sister Barbara and I.
In Coquimbo, the city where I was born, I studied my basic and average education in the Gabriela Mistral School with excellent qualifications, after that the results of my PSU where high enough to start to study Dentistry where I wanted.

My hobbies are to jog, to play computer games and to watch movies, specially the action movies.
In the university I share with people of the whole country, even from other countries like Colombia and Venezuela.
In the future I expect to reach the dream of being a dentist and help my country to grow.
